Oakmont have recently completed their seventh, and final phase of works at this prominent Georgian office building that neighbours Euston Station.
The commercial office building, which was originally constructed as a railway ticket office for the station, retains many of its stunning original features, but has been refurbished to provide in excess of 30,000 sq ft of contemporary and versatile working space.
Works to the exterior of the Eversholt Street buildings included the refurbishment of all windows, new mansard windows and the cleaning and restoration of the brickwork, entrance stone stairs and railings.
Internally Oakmont undertook a number of structural modifications, including the installation of mezzanines, the creation of openings within the existing walls to access former plant areas and their subsequent conversion into additional office space.
The scheme of works also incorporated the complete refurbishment of the three common core areas including the removal and installation of six lifts, and the complete refurbishment of three separate entrances and reception areas including bespoke joinery and lighting installations.
All works were undertaken whilst the buildings remained occupied and fully managed, this meant some out of hours working was required so as to ensure the absolute minimum of disruption to the tenants.Back to all blog posts
